After being officially shown at the APEC Conference at the end of October, Samsung is believed to be launching its first trifold screen device on December 5. This is according to information shared by @eveleaks through his tweet on X. He also confirmed that this device will use the name Samsung Galaxy Z Trifold and not the Galaxy G that was previously announced.
Evleaks also revealed that the Galaxy Z Trifold will be equipped with a 6.5″ outer screen with a peak brightness of 2600 nits while the inside will be a 10″ folding screen with a maximum brightness of 1600 nits. This will be matched with a Snapdragon chip, a 200MP main camera and a 5437mAh battery. What model of Snapdragon chip is still a mystery as well as charging support.
The three screen panels have a thickness of 3.9mm, 4.0mm and 4.2mm respectively with a thickness of 12.1 mm when fully folded. For comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is 8.2 mm thick. The Galaxy Z Trifold is believed to be launched in South Korea first with a price tag of around $3,000 (~RM 12,390) each.
