For the past few years, Amazon has been slowly rolling out a satellite network under Project Kuiper. It is seen as a competitor to SpaceX's Starlink. Now Project Kuiper is officially using the new name Amazon Leo which offers satellite internet services.
Leo currently has over 150 satellites in low Earth orbit with plans to have 3200 satellites when fully operational. Although it has only just been officially launched, Leo is already being used by customers such as JetBlue, L3Harris, DIRECTV Latin America, Sky Brasil, and Australia's National Broadband Network.
It offers three plans: Nano with a 100 Mbps peak speed, Pro up to 400 Mbps and Ultra up to 1 Gbps. All three subscription plans require three different antennas with sizes of 7×7″. 11×11″ and 20×30″.
