The end-of-year festive season is approaching and Google is using this opportunity to launch Google Gemini's artificial intelligence (AI) shopping feature. Through this feature, users only need to enter a question into the AI Mode search on Google Search. The AI will then provide relevant answers and then purchase items that meet the user's needs.
The most relevant product search for user requests is powered by the Shopping Graph, which has a list of 50 billion products. With this, products with the highest review scores or the most popular will be displayed, allowing users to buy without having to do a manual search that takes a long time. In addition to Search, the AI-powered shopping feature is also supported in the Google Gemini application.
Also launched today is that Google can make phone calls to nearby stores to find the product they are looking for. Google Duplex technology will make phone calls on behalf of users and then provide recommendations for stores that have their own stock for the product they want to buy for those who are more comfortable making offline purchases.
Unfortunately, all of these features are only accessible to users in the United States at this time.
