TikTok is now introducing a new Time and Well-being section designed to help users relax and build healthier digital habits. The platform replaces the previous screen time management page and comes with a variety of new features that are easier to use.
The Time and Well-being space offers a journal with over 120 motivational cards that can be downloaded or shared. It also provides soothing sounds along with breathing exercises to increase self-awareness. In addition, users can watch videos from content creators who share helpful tips for managing screen time limits, adjusting ‘For You’ settings, and taking advantage of the Family Pairing function.
Meanwhile, TikTok emphasizes the safety of teens by providing over 50 safety settings that are automatically activated. A meditation feature was also introduced at 10 pm to help teens calm down before bed and is now available to all users.
The Time and Well-being space can be accessed through account settings, and it also appears when users reach their daily screen time limit or when Sleep Hours are active. In addition, TikTok added a ‘Take A Break’ video link and partnered with experts to educate the community about mental well-being.
