X Enables Feature to View Account Owners' Country of Origin

After two weeks of testing and trial, X has finally enabled a feature that allows account owners to check their country of origin by other users. The feature was activated on Saturday with the account location visible by pressing the date the account was registered.

By default, this feature will show the account owner's country of origin and the app store used by the account owner. Account owners can change the settings to change the location from country to region if they want to maintain privacy. Since this feature was activated yesterday, dozens of accounts claiming to be from X's country have been exposed as fraudsters.

Accounts supporting Israel were found to be from India and hardcore MAGA supporters were from Eastern European countries or Russia. This confirms users' long-standing prejudice that the majority of these accounts are simply anger farmers who were set up to generate income through Twitter Premium.
