Updated – The app was back up and running at around 1.00pm today. The reason for the issue has not been explained by CelcomDigi at the time of writing.
Are you a CelcomDigi customer and have not been able to access the app since yesterday? You are not the only user who has experienced this issue because since the app was updated yesterday, all customers have been logged out. The issue here is that the app is now not working and the re-login process cannot be done.
The OTP bypass button is not working. Logging in using a single sign-on (SSO) system like Google is also blocked after users enter their CelcomDigi account phone number. This has caused issues for Celcom customers who previously used the Celcom Life app. The Celcom Life app has been discontinued and customers are now left stranded to manage their online accounts.
For Digi customers, your luck is better because at the time of writing the article, the MyDigi app can still be accessed until December 31 to make payments or check bills. At this point, CelcomDigi has not yet issued any official statement regarding the issues facing customers. We have already contacted CelcomDigi representatives and are awaiting an official response.
