For Apple users who want to own a drone, now is the right time. DJI has introduced Apple Watch support for three models, namely DJI Neo 2, DJI Flip and DJI Neo through an update to the DJI Fly app.
With this improvement, users can not only monitor the video display and battery level directly through the smartwatch. In fact, they can use voice control even though the small screen does not provide full control. This support is also compatible with Apple Watch Series 8 and above including Watch Ultra 2 and Ultra 3 to make the experience of controlling the drone easier.
Although a smartphone is still required for primary operational purposes, the use of this Apple Watch makes drone control more practical because it makes it easier to perform actions such as launching the drone, starting tracking and taking selfies without having to hold the phone.
In addition, ActiveTrack functions including Circle mode are also provided for a more practical and distraction-free shooting experience. Next, the DJI Fly app version for Apple Watch can be downloaded for free on the App Store for all three drone models.
