Apart from the Lenovo Legion Go 2 gaming console powered by the SteamOS operating system and the Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable, Lenovo is also expected to launch a number of Legion gaming laptops powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 400 “Gorgon Point” series of processors that will also be introduced during the CES 2026 event.
Currently, it is expected that Lenovo will introduce three more gaming laptops powered by AMD processors under the name Lenovo Legion 7a and two Lenovo Legion 5a that will come with different specifications.
Starting with the Lenovo Legion 7a, which will be powered by a choice of AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 and AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processors and will come with a 16-inch PureSight OLED screen display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 2560×1600 resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate.
As for the Lenovo Legion 5a, it is seen to come with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor chip with a PureSight OLED display with a refresh rate of 165Hz with the same aspect ratio and resolution.
Interestingly, Windowslatest says that the specifications of this powerful CPU will be matched with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB graphics card, and this is because the Lenovo Legion 7a and Legion 5a come with a thin frame design, not exceeding 2cm in thickness.
Cooling these components is the Legion ColdFront cooling system that will dissipate heat from the CPU and GPU components at a very fast rate.
Lenovo is also expected to introduce laptops in the Lenovo Yoga and Lenovo IdeaPad series with a new AMD processor series, all of which will be shown at the CES 2026 event that will take place in Las Vegas in early January.
