LG Launches Three New UltraGear Evo Monitors With 5K Resolution

Like Samsung, LG also launched three models of their LG UltraGear Evo gaming monitors in conjunction with CES 2026. Among the interesting features supported by this new monitor is artificial intelligence (AI) that increases the resolution to 5K without the need for a new GPU. There is also support for AI Scene Optimization and AI Sound.

The first model is the LG UltraGear Evo 39GX950B with a 39” 5K2K OLED tandem RGB screen that offers more accurate colors and a more durable panel. Through dual panel models, it supports a refresh rate of 165Hz (5K2K) or 330Hz (WFHD). The monitor screen is curved with 1500R, a 21:0 panel and exceeds the HDR True Black 500 standard.

Next is the LG UltraGear Evo 7GM950B with the world's first 27” 5K MiniLED screen complete with 2,304 dimming zones. With dual panel models supporting a refresh rate of 165Hz (5K) or 330Hz (QHD). The monitor screen exceeds the HDR 1000 standard and has a peak brightness of up to 1250 nits.

Finally, the LG UltraGear Evo 52G930B with a 52” screen, which LG claims is the world’s largest 5K panel and supports a refresh rate of 240Hz. It is an ultra-wide monitor with a 12:9 aspect ratio, which is 33% wider than a typical UHD panel. The screen curvature is 1000R.

All three models will be shown by LG at CES next month.
