Xiaomi has now introduced their latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. For now, this flagship phone is introduced for the Chinese market only, and it is not yet known when it will be marketed globally.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra comes with a 6.9-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a brightness rate of up to 3500nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, memory options of up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, and storage of up to 1TB UFS 4.1.
On the camera side, it includes a Leica-branded triple camera, namely a 50-megapixel main camera with a 1-inch Light Fusion 1050L sensor, paired with a 50-megapixel Leica ultra-wide, and a 200-megapixel telephoto camera. This smartphone also includes a 50-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The phone uses a 6800mAh battery with 90W charging support. On the operating system, it runs HyperOS 3.0, and also includes a number of artificial intelligence-based features.
For now, Xiaomi has only announced this device in China, and we may hear more about its offerings for the global market or Malaysia in the coming months.
