1Password is one of the most secure password management software on the market today, used not only by regular users, but also by corporate companies for their employees.
Recently, 1Password seems to have updated their password management software with a pop-up feature that will warn you if it detects that you are trying to log in to a phishing website that will try to steal your account details, including your account name, email, and login password.
1Password is aware that sometimes users will get confused when 1Password does not work properly on websites that they think are real websites, but are actually fake websites. And here, they will enter their login details manually, and 1Password can do nothing.
Adding this pop-up feature to warn users is the easiest way to ensure that users do not accidentally share their details online.
Phishing websites are now more advanced, using addresses that either closely resemble real website addresses, or using websites with typos that may not be easy to spot.
This feature will be enabled automatically for regular users and family account customers, while administrators can choose to enable it manually for all their coworkers.
