Grab has announced the acquisition of a China-based robotics firm, Infermove. With this acquisition, it also indirectly expands Grab's portfolio to include the robotics sector.
This acquisition also comes following Grab's investments in a number of robotex firms in 2025. Infermove is ready to develop on-road delivery robots, focusing on delivering food and small-sized goods.
Through the acquisition of this robotics firm, it is expected to further improve Grab's future capabilities in automating delivery and logistics operations.
Despite being acquired, Infermove is expected to continue to operate independently with the original team. The acquisition price has not been announced by either party at this time.
