Huawei today launched its new foldable phone Mate X7 in Malaysia. This new model emphasizes long-term durability, while also being equipped with an improved camera system for a better photography experience.
The Huawei Mate X7 comes with an 8-inch main screen and a 6.49-inch secondary screen. Both use a 120Hz LTPO OLED panel with a resolution of 2416 × 2210 pixels. In addition, it is offered with a single memory of 16GB RAM with 512GB internal storage with no information about the processor chip being disclosed. It is also equipped with a SuperCool Ultra-Large VC & Graphene Heat Dissipation cooling system, which uses a large-sized VC with graphene material. This technology helps to better control the temperature so that the device remains cool and stable throughout use.
The device is also equipped with a camera system consisting of 50MP Ultra Lighting HDR (F1.49~F4.0, OIS), 40MP Ultra-Wide-Angle (RYYB), 50MP Telephoto Macro (F2.2, RYYB, OIS) and True-to-Colour Camera. For selfies, it provides 8MP sensors on the outer and inner screens. In addition, this device is supported by a 5600mAh battery with 66W fast charging via USB-C port and 50W wirelessly. Not to mention, it runs EMUI 15 with several of the latest AI features such as AI Multi-task, AI Messaging, AI Retouch, AI Best Expression and AI Remove.
Huawei Mate X7 is offered in Malaysia at RM8,688 with Nebula Red, Classic Black and Brocade White color options. Pre-orders made between 20 to 30 January 2026 also come with free gifts worth up to RM7,597, including Huawei Watch 5 (RM1,999), Huawei MatePad 11.5” (RM1,299), an exclusive RM2,000 trade-in rebate for selected devices, and one-year screen protection worth RM2,299.
