Insta360 introduced two new webcams, the Link 2 Pro and Link 2C Pro, with better offerings than the previous generation. Both share most of the main specifications. However, the Link 2 Pro comes with 2-axis gimbal support while the Link 2C Pro does not.
Both models come with a larger 1/1.3-inch sensor, making them suitable for use in a variety of lighting conditions. The built-in Dual Native ISO HDR technology can ensure that bright lights and dark shadows are displayed in a balanced manner. In addition, Dual-Microphone with Directional Pickup allows the user's voice to be heard clearly while eliminating external noise.
Other smart functions are also available, including AI Tracking and Auto Framing, which can be used for either individuals or groups. For the Link 2 Pro, it offers additional control with specific zone tracking for privacy purposes.
Users can also control the camera via hand gestures, the Link Controller software or a smartphone. In addition, it provides a smart mode with AI Noise Reduction, thus improving audio quality and is compatible with Insta360 Wavelink Pro for better sound matching.
There is also an AI-based Whiteboard Mode, Deskview Mode for tabletop display and Portrait Mode for vertical recording for social media. The new Insta360 Insight feature – AI Meeting Assistant also helps provide transcription, summaries, highlighters and automatic drafts for emails or reports. For privacy, this camera is also equipped with a special cover.
