Lenovo Magic Bay technology is a “smart dock” technology introduced to a number of Lenovo ThinkBook laptop series where it can be paired with additional accessories such as webcams, LTE network support accessories, additional lights for existing webcams and others.
Recently, through a share on Weibo, a Lenovo spokesperson has confirmed that this Magic Bay technology will be extended to the Lenovo ThinkBook 14+ and ThinkBook 16+ launched this year.
Not only that, Lenovo also confirmed that in the future, third-party computer accessory manufacturers can also develop their own Magic Bay accessories. This will somewhat allow Magic Bay technology to come with new productivity enhancements that Lenovo may not have thought of.
