In 2017, LG launched a thin Wallpaper TV to meet the needs of users who want to hang the TV on the wall without it appearing to protrude. At CES 2026, the LG OLED evo W6 TV finally brought back the thin Wallpaper design because it is only 9mm thick.
It uses True Wireless technology that allows inputs from various devices to be connected to a Zero Connect Box. This is then transmitted wirelessly to the LG OLED evo W6 with 4K 144Hz support and lossless Dolby Atmos audio.
According to LG, the content display on this TV is better with the help of Hyper Radiant Color Technology that improves the display of black, color, and content details. The screen detail is up to 3.9 times higher than that of a regular OLED panel. All these new features are powered by the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3 chip with 5.6X more powerful NPU than the previous generation.
For gamers, this TV also supports 4K 165Hz resolution with support for NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM). Like all LG smart TVs, the operating system used is webOS. The selling price of this slim TV has not yet been announced.
