ASUS ROG Xreal R1 Is the World's First AR Gaming Glasses

The ASUS ROG Xreal R1 was launched as the world's first pair of AR gaming glasses that use a Micro OLED FHD screen with a 240Hz refresh rate. When paired with a device like the ASUS ROG Xbox Ally, it becomes a virtual screen of up to 171 inches with a 4-meter field of view.

Other features include a 57-degree viewing angle and a Bose audio system built into the stem. Connections can be made directly using a USB-C cable or via the ROG Control Dock. It has two HDMI 2.0 connections and one DP 1.4 connection. The total weight of the glasses is 91 grams.

In terms of design, it has the same design as the previously launched Xreal One but with a more aggressive gaming finish in line with the ROG brand. Its specifications are actually lower compared to the Xreal 1S that was also launched today. The price has not been announced but this product will be marketed in H1 2026.
