Maxis today introduced the new Maxis Family Plan which combines high-speed home internet with unlimited mobile lines.
There are two plan options available, namely RM299/month with 500Mbps fibre speed and three unlimited 4G/5G mobile lines while RM399/month offers 1Gbps speed with four unlimited 4G/5G mobile lines.
Maxis Family Plan customers will receive a WiFi 6 router with free installation, while this plan also comes with a free sooka Premium subscription for a limited time. In addition, Maxis gives customers the freedom to customize the plan according to their needs.
For example, customers can upgrade fibre speed up to 2Gbps and add up to six additional mobile lines. For the RM299 plan, upgrading to 1Gbps is charged at RM90 per month or 2Gbps at RM160 per month while for the RM399 plan, upgrading to 2Gbps is only RM70 per month. Additional mobile lines can be added at RM48 per line.
In areas not yet covered by fibre, customers can opt for the Maxis Family Plan with 5G Home WiFi, which comes with a free 5G router for a simple and easy plug-and-play experience. Meanwhile, existing Maxis customers can upgrade to this new plan by simply visiting their nearest Maxis Centre.
