DJI RS5 entered the global market yesterday as a new, smarter gimbal. In Malaysia, the selling price starts at RM2,109 for the standard set. Meanwhile, a combo package that includes the RS Enhanced Intelligent Tracking Module, Electronic Briefcase Handle, cable and bag is also offered for RM2,639.
DJI RS5 comes with a new generation of stabilization algorithms that are improved in terms of intelligent tracking, stabilization and control.
This gimbal also supports the ‘Enhanced Smart Tracking’ module which can display images on the screen and track objects such as people, vehicles or animals up to a distance of 10 meters and is able to re-identify the subject even if it momentarily leaves the frame.
This module supports control via gestures or touches on the screen and can be easily mounted using a magnetic system.
The new stabilization algorithm has been improved for various shooting scenarios to reduce the effects of shaking while the combination of software and hardware provides a more stable recording experience. RS5 also offers a battery of up to 30 hours and can accommodate a load of up to 3 kilograms.
