Microsoft previously offered an app called Office Lens that made it easier for users to scan documents using their phone's camera and save them as PDFs. The app was later rebranded as Microsoft Lens.
Now, Microsoft has announced the end of support for the Microsoft Lens app for iOS and Android users. Users can still use the app until March 9, 2026, and it will stop operating after that.
As an alternative, users are encouraged to switch to the OneDrive app, which also has a document scanning feature using the device's camera.
