NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000 Super Graphics Card Series May Be Delayed Without a New Date

Another rumor regarding the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000 Super graphics card series has been reported recently, where computer component manufacturers have been told that the development of the graphics processing chip for the graphics card series has been delayed until a date to be announced.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000 Super graphics card series has been rumored to be present since the middle of last year, with many saying that NVIDIA will show it at the CES 2026 event.

The latest delay news was revealed through the China Board Channels trade forum, which usually has accurate information on issues like this. This forum is usually made up of professionals working in the electronics component manufacturing industry and their friends, so if they share that NVIDIA will delay the production of the graphics chip, the high probability is that it is true.

If accurate, this is also seen as something that is not very surprising. NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5090 and GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card models in particular are still among the most powerful consumer graphics cards on the market today. Companies like AMD and Intel typically only produce graphics cards for mid-range computers, so users who want powerful graphics components will still buy NVIDIA's offerings.

At CES, NVIDIA also introduced DLSS 4.5, a technology for improving the quality of graphics in games that uses the AI capabilities built into the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000 series of graphics cards. NVIDIA is also expected to launch the GeForce RTX 6000 series of graphics cards by the end of 2027, and will not launch this Super series graphics card at all.
