OnePlus has officially launched its new series of devices, the OnePlus Turbo 6 and OnePlus Turbo 6V in China. What caught our attention was the battery capacity of 9,000mAh. Despite the large capacity battery, the device is only 8.5mm thick and weighs around 215g.
In terms of specifications, the OnePlus Turbo 6 is a more advanced device with a 6.78-inch OLED screen, 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage and a 9,000mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC charging.
In terms of cameras, it has a 50MP wide-angle lens with OIS, a 2MP monochrome lens and a 16MP selfie camera. Talking about durability, the device has an IP69 waterproof and dustproof rating.

In China, the OnePlus Turbo 6 is sold at a starting price of RMB 2,300 (~RM1,340) while the Turbo 6V starts at RMB 1,900 (~RM1,106). At the moment, it is not known whether the Turbo series will be offered for the global market or may be rebranded as the Nord series for the Malaysian market later.
