The Samsung Galaxy S26 series will be launched on February 25 according to images leaked by Evan Blass @evlekas today. At this Galaxy Unpacked event, three devices Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra will be launched along with the new Galaxy Buds4 series.
There is no information about the location of the event but it will be very close to the date of the MWC Barcelona event. It has been a long time since Samsung launched their new devices at MWC Barcelona with Unpacked usually taking place in January.
Through several leaked images and promotional videos that have been shared, the Galaxy S26 series will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and for the first time with screen technology that can prevent others from seeing what is being viewed through a new privacy system. There are also reports in certain markets, the Exynos chip will be offered.
In terms of design, no major differences are expected to be made apart from the camera bump which is now oval in shape, similar to that used on the back of the Z Fold7, Galaxy S57 and Galaxy A37. If Apple standardizes the interface of all operating systems, Samsung standardizes the design of all devices they offer.
