If yesterday Tesla announced that it would invest up to $2 billion in xAI, now a new report has emerged stating that SpaceX and xAI may merge into one entity this year.
Both companies are owned by Elon Musk. Combining the two companies is also expected to make the new entity's value higher, before conducting a public listing for it.
If true, then we may see products such as the X platform, Grok, Starlink internet service and SpaceX rocket offerings operating under one entity. In fact, this may also facilitate Elon Musk's ambitions in building data centers in space.
For your information, SpaceX previously invested in xAI last year. Last year, Elon Musk also merged the xAI company and the X platform under the same entity. In addition, Elon Musk also used Tesla to buy SolarCity.
