Volvo EX60 Announced – First Car to Include Google Gemini



It seems that January 2026 is starting fast and furious for electric car enthusiasts. Today Volvo has officially announced their latest electric car, the EX 60. As the name suggests, it belongs to the SUV class, joining the EX30 and EX90 but with the advantages of the latest SPA3 architecture, providing a range of up to 810 km.


With cell-to-body technology that reduces components, where the battery is directly built into the electric car chassis, it has a large battery and can still be charged quickly. DC charging of 400 kW for 10 minutes will provide a charging range of 340 km thanks to the 800V architecture.


In terms of design, the headlights still retain the 'Thor Hammer' style, while in terms of design, the door handles are placed close to the windows. The rear passenger seat has a height-adjustable function, suitable for child passengers. The interior is equipped with 28 Bowers & Wilkin speakers, Dolby Atmos technology, a translucent roof and is powered by the Google operating system which also supports Gemini. With this, users can do various things with AI technology.


There is another version of the EX60 that has been introduced, the EX60 Cross Country. It is produced for rugged use, where users can raise its floor by 20cm using air suspension. Since it uses air suspension, it can also be lowered to increase the aerodynamic level of this car. It also has a design with elements that show its ruggedness,


This Volvo EX60 will come with a 10-year battery warranty and they announced that the manufacture of this EX60 electric car will begin in April this year, and is expected to meet users in the summer or around the third quarter of this year.
