Apple is said to be developing a Macbook powered by iPhone chips, allowing Apple to offer the laptop at a more competitive price. According to a Bloomberg report today, Apple is said to be introducing the MacBook variant in March 2026.
This new MacBook is expected to be powered by the Apple A18 Pro chip – the same chip used in the iPhone 16 Pro in 2024. What sets this laptop apart from others is that it will come in a number of different color options – likely similar to Apple's previous iMac offerings.
This MacBook is also said to be likely to use a 12.9-inch screen, and use an aluminum-based frame. At the moment, the final selling price is unknown, but it is expected to be more competitive and cheaper than the MacBook Air offering, which has a starting price tag of RM4499 in Malaysia.
With this new development, let's all look forward to the official introduction of this new MacBook next month.
