Apple shared the latest data on global iOS and iPadOS usage today. As of February 12, 2026, 66% of iPhones worldwide are using iOS 26, with 24% using iOS 18 and the remaining 10% still using older versions of iOS. A total of 74% of iPhones launched in the past four years are using iOS 26 and 20% are still using iOS 18.
On iPadOS, 57% of iPads are using iPadOS 26, with 26% using iPadOS 18 and the remaining 17% using a much older version. Among iPads launched in the past four years, 66% are using iPadOS 26 and 28% are using iPadOS 18.
This official figure is collected by Apple through App Store usage on iPhones and iPads worldwide. It is higher than a Statcounter report last month that said only 15% of iPhones are using iOS 26.
