Google through Gemini has already offered a feature called Nano Banana, focusing on image generation through artificial intelligence generation. The Nano Banana feature is quite popular and is used by many in generating images, editing images, combining images, and so on.
Today, Google has introduced Nano Banana 2 or also known as Gemini 3.1 Flash Image. This new model improves on the previous offering, making it easier for you to generate images, edit images and related things.
Nano Banana 2 also includes support for drawing capabilities and adding real-time information to images – which is useful in generating infographics or diagrams, as well as supporting more accurate text generation and translation.
In addition, it now generates subjects in an image more consistently. In a chain generation, users can maintain up to 14 objects consistently in the image. Nano Banana 2 also supports rendering up to 4K resolution, and can be rendered in either vertical or horizontal screen ratios.
Google says Nano Banana 2 is rolling out starting today to all users worldwide through the Gemini app and several other apps.
