Huawei has just launched the Band 11 and Band 11 Pro in Malaysia. Although both look almost the same in terms of design, there are some important differences that distinguish the Pro version from the regular model.
In terms of display, both models use a 1.62″ AMOLED screen suitable for wrists between 130 to 210 mm. However, the Band 11 Pro offers a higher resolution with a sharper display reaching 2000 nits compared to the regular version which is only 1500 nits.
For colors and materials, the Band 11 Pro uses an aluminum alloy frame with Green, Blue and Black color options. Meanwhile, the Band 11 comes with Beige, Green and White color options which use an aluminum alloy frame as well as Purple and Black options with durable polymer materials.
Both models also offer various health and fitness functions such as Emotional Wellbeing 2.0, Heart Health, Sleep Health, Running Ability, Recovery Heart Rate, Daytime HRV, SpO2 as well as daily activity tracking and others. It is also equipped with a 9-axis IMU sensor consisting of an accelerometer sensor, gyroscope sensor and magnetometer sensor.
However, the Pro model comes with additional advantages such as outdoor GNSS positioning for more accurate location tracking, Auto Detect Workout which can automatically identify exercise activities and Wrist-Based Running Posture to monitor the user's running style.
Huawei Band 11 and Band 11 Pro come with a battery that can last up to 8 days for normal use and up to 14 days for regular use. Both also have water resistance with 5ATM standards suitable for daily activities including swimming.
In addition, both support remote shutter functions for camera control, including third-party applications, as well as ecosystem integration via HarmonyOS 6 when used with Huawei smartphones. Users also get access to additional features such as a compass, calendar, and a more attractive notification display.
Interestingly, both models also support Touch ‘n Go payments. In Malaysia, the official price starts at RM189 for the Band 11 while the Band 11 Pro is offered at RM269.
It’s even more profitable when there are limited promotional prices as low as RM149 for the Band 11 and RM229 for the Band 11 Pro.
