Grab has announced that it will acquire US-based financial platform Stash Financial. Grab is acquiring it for a reported $425 million.
Stash Financial offers convenience for users to make small investments using it, and also comes with robo-based investment assistance like several other platforms.
Grab said it will continue to operate Stash in the United States, and at the same time wants to bring similar service offerings to the Southeast Asian region.
Grab also said that this acquisition continues to add to their expertise and knowledge in the digital finance arena, in addition to providing access to Stash’s artificial intelligence support in investing.
Stash is expected to continue to operate independently after this acquisition.
