Good news for fans and collectors of physical video games as Take-Two Interactive has confirmed that the physical disc version of Grand Theft Auto VI will go on sale on the day it launches. The announcement comes after rumors emerged that the digital-only version would be sold on launch day to prevent the game from being accessed early until the plot was leaked to the web.
Although it was just a rumor at the time, it received a negative reaction from fans because buying your favorite game at midnight has been a long-standing tradition of the GTA series' launch day. The wait of more than 12 years for a new game in the series will finally end on November 19 after being delayed several times because Rockstar Games needed more time.
The Rockstar Hacking incident, a fire at the studio and employees being fired for allegedly joining the union are among the dramas that have cast a dark shadow over the highly anticipated game.
