The IQOO 15 Ultra has been officially launched in China as a new addition to the existing IQOO 15 series. The device comes with a 6.85-inch 2K+ AMOLED LTPO screen that supports a 144Hz refresh rate, 8000 nits peak brightness, ‘Pleasing Eye Protection 2.0’ technology, and Dolby Vision.
The IQOO 15 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip along with the Q3 gaming chip that supports up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. To ensure stable performance, it is also equipped with an ‘Ice Dome Cooling System’ with a built-in fan and a large-sized VC plate.
In addition, the IQOO 15 Ultra also features built-in shoulder buttons that are optimized for missions such as Delta Force. It also comes with a Dolby Atmos stereo speaker system with a symmetrical coaxial design and a Warhammer MAX vibration motor that offers 4D effects for a more immersive viewing experience. In terms of photography, this device offers a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide, a 50MP periscope telephoto and a 32MP front camera. It also supports the NICE algorithm to produce cinematic image quality.
Other specifications include the Android 16 operating system with OriginOS 6.0 interface, an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, IP68+IP69 water and dust resistance, as well as network support such as Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC. The IQOO 15 Ultra retail price starts at RMB5,699 (~RM3,237).
