Google has previously been ready to focus on revenue through advertising, and is among the world's largest companies that generate advertising revenue. Not only that, Google has also successfully developed a business focused on subscriptions.
Through the latest financial statement, Google stated that they also have over 325 paid subscriptions. These subscriptions also include the additional storage service Google One, in addition to subscriptions to access YouTube without ads through YouTube Premium.
The figure is seen to continue to increase positively. Google has also started to focus on offering AI subscriptions through Google One, in addition to recently introducing a paid subscription Google One Lite in Malaysia at a price of RM3.50 per month.
With this figure, it is not impossible that we see Google continue to focus on subscription services, and come up with a number of new offerings for users to ensure that users continue to subscribe and contribute monthly income to Google.
