Samsung has officially announced that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on February 25 in San Francisco. This answers speculations that the Samsung Galaxy S26 series and the Samsung Galaxy Buds4 series will be held at MWC Barcelona, with some predicting that it will be held at MWC Barcelona.
Through several leaked images and promotional videos that have been shared, the Galaxy S26 series will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and for the first time with screen technology that can prevent others from seeing what is being viewed through a new privacy system and improved cameras. There are also reports in certain markets that the Exynos chip will be offered.
In terms of design, no major differences are expected to be made other than the camera bump which is now oval in shape, similar to that used on the back of the Z Fold7, Galaxy S57 and Galaxy A37. If Apple standardizes the interface of all operating systems, Samsung is also standardizing the design of all devices they offer.
