Samsung has confirmed the launch of its new Galaxy devices on February 25 in San Francisco. AI-based technology remains the main focus of this update. Galaxy AI is described as an evolution of the camera system with the aim of making smartphones not just communication tools but also complete creative tools.
Among the promised capabilities are the ability to easily change daytime photos to night scenes with just text commands. In addition, users will soon be able to produce cinematic-style videos without the need for deep technical skills. The new AI can also restore missing details, for example, the part of a cupcake that has been bitten off, and turn subjects such as animals into AI stickers to make the display more interesting.
Samsung also showed off a function similar to ‘Generative Edit’ where users can sketch additions to photos and let AI creatively complete the result. However, Samsung has not yet revealed the official name or full details of the feature’s capabilities and more information is expected to be announced before the official launch.
