Windows 11 26H1 Update Is Only for ARM-Powered Computers

Microsoft will soon introduce the Windows 11 26H1 operating system update to the public, and recently introduced it to users in their Windows Insider program.

New details about this update have been revealed, which is only for computers powered by ARM processing chips and the Windows-on-Arm platform. The difference in naming is also seen to distinguish the Windows 11 x64 (25H2) and Arm versions of the update.

In terms of update details, it is seen that both updates will focus more on improving security and stability of the operating system and not adding new features compared to several previous operating system updates, which have been seen to have added several usability issues to users who update to the latest version of the operating system.

As mentioned, the Windows 11 26H1 update is being tested first through the Windows Insider program, and will be introduced to the public when it is ready.
