Bytedance launched CapCut Video Studio, a video generation service using the generative artificial intelligence (AI) model Dreamina Seedance 2.0. Video Studio is a local AI studio that can help generate ideas, plots and content structures to be produced.
Then there is the feature of creating storyboards and generating images of characters and objects to be used before they become assets in the video. There is a built-in editing feature similar to CapCut, allowing the entire content production process to be done locally without the need for various different applications.
CapCut Video Studio is available today through the CapCut website version. All CapCut Video Studio users receive free credits to generate their first AI video with additional credits available for purchase. The Seedance 2.0 model is only accessible to users in the Southeast Asia, North Africa, Middle East, Latin America and Africa regions first before expanding to other regions in the future.
