Foldable iPhone Will Use iPad Interface on Home Screen

Apple's first foldable iPhone is expected to be launched next year to celebrate its 20th anniversary. There have been many rumors about this device for the past five years. This morning, Bloomberg reported that the device, which may be called the iPhone Ultra, will use the iPad interface on a large screen.

The iPhone Ultra's design is believed to be similar to the Pixel 10 Pro Fold with a small screen on the outside and a large screen on the inside with a 4:3 ratio. When opened, this screen is the same size as an iPad Mini. Therefore, the use of the iPadOS interface is a good decision because the device is now more like a tablet.

The same system has already been used by Oppo, Honor and Huawei on their foldable screen devices that openly borrow the iPadOS interface. In the same report, the iPhone Ultra is also expected to use Touch ID instead of Face ID. How true this report is will only be known when it is launched.
