iQIYI, one of the popular streaming platforms, has now announced that they will update their subscription prices for the Malaysian market effective April 1, 2026, which will see an increase in subscription prices. iQIYI said that this change will only affect new customers, while existing customers can enjoy the same subscription prices as before.
Through the new changes, iQIYI Standard VIP will be offered at a subscription price of RM16.90 per month (compared to RM13.90 per month previously). While iQIYI Premium VIP will be offered at a subscription price of RM24.90 per month (compared to RM20.90 per month previously).
iQIYI said that this increase in subscription prices is in line with the addition of various new content to the platform, while ensuring a good user experience under the platform. For your information, previously, a year ago, iQIYI also did the same thing in increasing the subscription prices of their streaming services.
