Lenovo is expected to showcase several new products at the ongoing Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this year, and one of those products is a new tablet/gaming console that comes with a foldable display called the Lenovo Legion Go Fold.
The gaming tablet shown at the event is a tablet that can be connected to a wireless controller, much like the original Lenovo Legion Go gaming console, but with a foldable screen.
The tablet portion of the console comes with an 11.7-inch POLED touchscreen display that can be folded to 7.7 inches with a full-size 2435 x 1712 pixel resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The tablet is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 258V processor with 32GB of built-in memory and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, running the Windows 11 operating system.
The console controller portion can also be detached from the tablet portion just like the previous Lenovo Legion Go, and can be connected wirelessly via Bluetooth. One notable difference with this console is that it can also be connected to all four sides of the tablet, which can be used regardless of whether it is folded or not.
Meanwhile, Lenovo has also shown a keyboard accessory that can be connected to the Lenovo Legion Go Fold tablet to allow it to be used as a laptop.
The model shown at the MWC 2026 event is a prototype. Tom’s Hardware says that the console still needs a lot of improvement, especially in terms of its hinge to ensure that the console does not accidentally fold when used in the open state.
It is currently unknown when Lenovo will introduce this tablet as an official consumer product.
