Motorola Razr Fold Now Official With Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and 6000 mAh Battery



After being teased at CES 2026, today the Motorola Razr Fold was officially launched at MWC 2026 as Motorola's first book-type folding screen device. The outer screen is 6.6” 165Hz that supports Dolby Vision and is protected by Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3. Meanwhile, the folding screen is 8.09” LTPO 1–120Hz with Dolby Vision and 6,200 nit peak brightness.


This is also matched with the chip: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, up to 16GB LPDDR5X memory, up to 1TB storage and a 6000 mAh battery that supports 80W wired, 50W wireless and 5W reverse wireless charging.


The three main cameras are a 50MP Sony Lytia 828 wide-angle lens with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 50MP Lytia 600 periscope telephoto lens with OIS. The external selfie camera is 32MP and the internal one is 20MP. Video recording is up to 8K 30FPS.


USB‑C 3.2 Gen 1 with DisplayPort 1.2 is included along with Motorola's desktop mode. The operating system used is Android 16. A Moto Pen Ultra is included with every purchase. This stylus is supported on both the external and internal screens.


In addition, the device's body is 4.55 mm thick when opened and 9.89 mm when folded back and passes the IP49 waterproof and dustproof standards. From the audio point of view, the speakers are tuned by Bose with Dolby Atmos support.


The Motorola Razr Fold can be purchased starting April 13 at a starting price of €1,999 (~RM 9206) each in Pantone Lily White and Pantone Blackened Blue.
