Samsung officially announced the Eyxnos 1680 chip used in the Galaxy A57 which was launched last night. This mid-range chip uses 4nm EUV technology. It is equipped with eight CPU cores using a configuration of 1x Cortex A720 2.9GHz, 4x Cortex A720 2.6GHz and 3x Cortex A520 1.95GHz paired with an AMD RDNA 3-based Xclipse 550 GPU.
Meanwhile, the NPU has 19.6 TOPS of artificial intelligence (AI) processing power allowing it to run various AI features on the device. The chip can support FHD+ screens up to 144Hz refresh rate. The camera is up to 200MP or dual 32MP+32MP cameras. LPDDR5X memory can be used together with UFS 4.1 storage.
Cellular network support is 5G NR (FR1 & FR2) with download speeds of up to 5.1Gbps and upload speeds of 1.28Gbps. In addition, it can also support Wi‑Fi 6E and Bluetooth 6.1.
