Vivo returns to the powerful tablet market with the launch of the Pad6 Pro. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor chip, making it more powerful than the latest competitor models such as the Honor MagicPad 4 and Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro on the market.
Vivo Pad6 Pro comes with a 13.2″ 4K screen that supports a 144Hz refresh rate, 347 PPI pixel density, a display of up to 1.07 billion colors and HDR support. This is matched with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip with Monster HyperCore Engine to provide more robust performance.
The tablet is also equipped with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The thermal management system uses three-dimensional VC technology with layered materials and a heat dissipation area of 71,446 mm² which increases efficiency by up to 15%.
The 13,000mAh battery is advertised to last up to 78 days in standby mode, 16.8 hours of offline video playback, 13.1 hours of streaming, 12.6 hours of light office use, and 9.5 hours of online meetings.
The tablet also runs OriginOS 6 with the Blue River Smooth engine, which offers a variety of additional features to enhance user productivity. Among the available features are CapCut Professional Edition for 4K video editing with stylus support and Atomic Workbench allowing up to five applications to run simultaneously.
In addition, it provides a multi-window interface that supports drag-and-drop file transfer and visual display of key tasks. Other productivity functions are also offered such as Atomic Notes, PDF annotation, Boundless Paper, handwriting recognition, English assistant and forgotten character assistance.
Cross-device features are also provided through vivo Share and Office Suite, which allows file transfer and network sharing. The ecosystem is complemented by additional accessories such as the vivo Smart Touch Keyboard 6 Pro while the vivo Pencil3 stylus offers low-millisecond latency and pressure sensitivity levels of up to 10,000.
The Vivo Pad6 Pro is sold in China starting with the base 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant at a starting price of RMB 4,499 (~RM2,628).
