Alienware, the gaming brand under Dell, has recently announced the arrival of their latest gaming display, the Alienware AW2726DM, which seems to have now also started being offered in Malaysia.
This gaming display uses a QD-OLED panel and comes in a size of 27 inches at a resolution of 2560×1440 with a refresh rate of 240Hz via a built-in DisplayPort 1.4 connection. This display also comes with two built-in HDMI plugs, but the combination of resolution and refresh rate is limited to 1440p and 120Hz.
In terms of display technology, the Alienware AW2726DM supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology, VESA AdaptiveSync, HDR10 and 10-bit color processing and 99 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut with a brightness value of up to 200 nits.
This brightness figure may seem lower than what you would normally see on a gaming monitor, but it still offers HDR10 support and a wide color gamut. Combined with the high refresh rate, it is still a gaming monitor that offers a lot of interesting features.
The Alienware AW2726DM display is now available on Dell Malaysia’s website for RM1419.
