DJI has introduced the Mic Mini 2, a compact wireless microphone that can be used with cameras, phones, computers, tablets and Osmo devices including Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo 360, Osmo Nano and Osmo Action 6 without the need for an additional receiver.
The Mic Mini 2 comes with an 11-gram transmitter with a detachable and rotatable magnetic clip for easy positioning. Furthermore, it supports Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4GHz transmission for a more stable connection.
In addition, DJI also offers sound options such as Regular, Rich and Bright, along with two levels of noise cancellation, a voice recording strength adjustment function in five different levels and dual-track recording via the DJI Mimo application for a better recording experience.
The Mic Mini 2's transmission range can reach up to 400 meters when used with two transmitters and one receiver. The 114mAh transmitter can last up to 11.5 hours while the 170mAh receiver lasts around 10.5 hours and takes around 100 minutes to fully charge.
With fast charging support, just 5 minutes of charging is enough to provide 1 hour of use, while the charging case adds up to 48 hours of backup. What’s more, users can change the style with eight cheerful color options for the magnetic front cover.
In Malaysia, the DJI Mic Mini 2 is priced between RM239 to RM399 depending on the package. For those who just need an additional unit, DJI also sells a separate transmitter for around RM139.
