If you are a fan of gaming computer builds, the GALAX brand is certainly familiar to you. The graphics card brand, which typically develops graphics cards based on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX series, is known for several leading models that come with good performance and attractive designs.
This was reported by WCCFTech which showed a statement sent by Palit, the parent company of the GALAX brand, which said that the company was forced to close due to constraints caused by the AI era that are now restricting their ability to purchase new raw materials, graphics chip components and others needed to build their graphics card supply.
GALAX is a graphics card brand known for their Hall of Fame graphics card models that come with great performance and unique and aggressive designs. Unfortunately, the brand has now closed down starting April 1, according to the statement issued.
The GALAX graphics cards currently on the market are the last graphics cards they will produce, and all warranty and RMA (return to manufacturer) operations will be handled by Palit for GALAX graphics cards that are still under warranty.
This is the second major computer component manufacturer to announce its closure after another brand, EVGA, also stopped producing NVIDIA graphics cards in 2022, but still produces power supply components for computers.
