Insta360 Luna Series Developed with Leica – DJI Osmo Pocket Competitor with Dual Cameras

Insta360 is showing off its new product lineup at NAB Show 2026, which includes the Luna series, special bundles, and software updates. Among the most notable is the Luna Series developed with Leica. The series comes in two models: the Luna Pro with a single-lens design and the Luna Ultra with a dual-lens design and enhanced telephoto.

However, it was not a full launch, but was only shown as a demonstration at the technology show. The Luna series was displayed behind a frosted glass case, allowing visitors to see the shadow of the new competitor to the DJI Osmo Pocket. Insta360 also confirmed that both cameras developed with Leica use a 1-inch sensor, F1.8 aperture, variable focal length, and support for 10-bit color recording.

Although Insta360 has not fully revealed its new technology, it is seen as a potential challenger to DJI in the highly competitive mobile gimbal camera segment. Furthermore, DJI has just announced the Osmo Pocket 4 and there has been a lot of speculation about the possibility of a dual-lens version with optical zoom. Although this has not materialized, DJI is expected to introduce a dual-lens Pro version that will compete directly with the Luna Ultra in the future.

In addition to the Luna Series, Insta360 also showcased the GO Ultra Tadej Pogačar Edition Bundle that was launched on April 15. The GO Ultra is their latest compact action camera designed for hands-free use and capable of capturing smooth, professional-quality POV footage in a variety of situations. This special edition features a collaboration with renowned cyclist Tadej Pogačar, emphasizing Insta360’s focus on extreme sports.

Next, Insta360 also showcased the Mic Pro, a new wireless microphone with a comprehensive design for modern audio workflows. It comes with a customizable E-Ink display that allows for logos, names or display elements to be added, making the microphone part of the recording frame rather than something that needs to be hidden.

Through the Insta360 Direct Connect system, the Mic Pro can be integrated directly with Insta360 cameras, reducing setup complexity and eliminating the need for additional devices in fast-paced situations. It also features a three-microphone array with a combination of AI-based processing and NPU-based noise reduction to maintain consistent audio clarity in a variety of environments.

Insta360 GO 3S

In addition, Insta360 is also introducing the GO 3S Retro Bundle, which brings the classic film camera experience to a compact POV camera. The bundle includes a Retro Viewfinder, stylish filters and accessories with a vintage touch, while maintaining the portability and core functionality of the GO 3S.

Followed by updated support for Flow 2 and Flow 2 Pro, which offer key improvements such as multi-lens support for Android devices such as the Samsung S26 Ultra, faster 360 panorama recording, Dual View Mode and control via Apple Watch on iPhone.
