Recently, we reported that Microsoft had pulled their latest Windows 11 update last week because it came with several vulnerabilities that caused downloaded files to fail to install on users' computers.
Today, Microsoft appears to have fixed the issue with a new patch update called KB5086672 to fix the issue. The update can be downloaded manually or automatically, and Microsoft says the update failure issue should now be fixed.
The pulled update, called KB5079391, comes with several updated features, such as Windows Narrator which can now read text from images more efficiently and deeper CoPilot integration.
File Explorer also received an update to rename files using voice commands, and the operating system now supports displays with refresh rates higher than 1000Hz and better power efficiency when the display is connected to the computer using a USB4 cable.
