Microsoft Surface Tablets and Laptops to Receive New Component Updates

Last week, Microsoft was seen increasing the price tags of its Microsoft Surface Pro tablet series and Microsoft Surface Laptop laptop due to memory and storage shortages, which are still seen as very expensive.

If you want to buy a Surface Pro or Surface Laptop, our advice would probably be to wait until Microsoft announces its latest offerings in the device series.

Recently, it has been reported that Microsoft will announce the latest series of Microsoft Surface Pro tablets and Microsoft Surface Laptop laptops around the summer of this year, which will come with the latest series of processor chips from Intel and Qualcomm.

The expectation is that Microsoft will load the latest Intel Core Ultra 300 “Panther Lake” series of processor chips and Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 series of chips on the devices, allowing them to be quite powerful mobile computing devices.

The reports also say that they will be offered with starting memory and storage specifications of 16GB and 256GB, and will go up to 32GB and 2TB configurations. Interestingly, for the more premium options, Microsoft will also offer OLED screen displays instead of IPS panels for their PixelSense displays.

If true, this could be seen as the biggest screen upgrade seen on the Microsoft Surface series of devices since they were introduced. As previously said, Microsoft is expected to introduce this new Microsoft Surface series of devices this summer.
