Ministry of Defence Wants to Use Influencers to Increase Recruitment



The Ministry of Defence is increasing efforts to attract youth to join the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) through social media, the PLKN program and social media influencers. This is because the MAF is facing a major challenge of losing around 5,000 personnel every year, which makes new recruitment very critical.


Through the collaboration of influencers and young MAF members, real experience sharing can be done. Social media can also be used as a platform to promote the latest technology used by the country's military assets.


Elements of e-sports and content that is closer to the interests of the younger generation will also be used. Among the questions that can be explained to him are career paths, future prospects and what benefits can be enjoyed if you become a MAF member.
